I posted this on different blog I used to have. I'm posting it again here just because I like the idea so much. I am making a new image too, not using the old one.

1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Quoteland.com and select "random quotations"
or click http://www.quoteland.com/random.asp
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Pick the best fit out of to be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop or similar app to put it all together and make it look nice. GIMP is free open source software. Get it at http://www.gimp.org/ Or just use MS Paint.

5 - Post it to Facebook or what have you and show off your... scratch that, other peoples work.

The video is in German with subtitles. I don't know why so far the most in depth hands ons with Sony's new lineup has been all by Germans but we'll take what we can get.

This new camera is pushing the limits of technology. If Nikon and Canon don't watch out they'll may turn into the Nokia and RIM of the photography world. ...Well, that's exaggerated, but you get the point. It's pretty well known that Sony has been supplying the image sensors for Nikon so.. Nikon version of this pleeease!

2010 Cell Phone Division Nominees - Portraits

I didn't make the top 10 but I'm pretty happy I made the top 47 and the first on the slide show (I like to think it was the personal favorite) Overall I'd say not bad out of 100,000 submissions going by a total amount I totally made up right now.

I was sleeping on my friends couch and his cat, Margo, woke me up by jumping on the couch and rattling the wooden blinds to peek out the window at who knows what... I snapped this with my Motorola Droid2 and did a little editing in the Photoshop Mobile Android app.

Obviously not really pocketable with that zoom kit but it would be with the 16mm pancake lens.
  • 16.1 MP APS-C
  • 10 fps
  • 1080/60p or 24p
  • Great low-light performance
Really thinking about getting one of these for a more compact shooter. I was playing with the NEX-3 at Best Buy the other day and fell in love with it. Almost purchased one, but smartphones and google convinced me otherwise (rip off prices and New NEXs soon being announced by Sony). Thank you technology for always saving me money.

This is my new site. It's still under construction. There will be much to come... Enjoy.
